Jasna Góra

We decided to have an intermediate destination until we arrived to Krakow. We chose to go to Jasna Góra Monastery (a famous Polish shrine to the Virgin Mary).

We had the opportunity to see the main nave of the basilica, the interior of the monastery, its surroundings, mosaics, statues and paintings of important events in a pilgrim’s life.

The path with all the flags around the world impressed us for its unity with all the pilgrims that are coming every time to visit this spiritual place.

Trip To Warsaw

Another weekend, another trip.

For this weekend, we decided to go on a trip through Poland to visit two of the biggest cities, for three days and two nights. The two cities were Warsaw and Kraków.

The total distance for the trip was over 1.300 km; a long distance, but it was worth it.

Our first destination was the capital of Poland, Warsaw.

Here, we visited Palace of Culture and Science, The Saxon Garden, Royal Castle and Warsaw Old Town.

The Palace of Culture and Science (the tallest building in Poland) offered us the chance to see exhibitions and visit the Theatre Studio, Gallery Studio and Theatre Dramatic, places with beautiful art style.

In The Saxon Garden we saw the Rococo sculptures, the fountain and the lake. It was a great place to relax and admire the surroundings, especially the sunset.

In The Royal Castle we could saw Knight’s Room, Canaletto Room, The Old Audience Chamber and others. The castle is a great place to see the early Baroque architectural style and to learn more about the Polish monarchs.

In Warsaw Old Town we had the pleasure to see more buildings with specific architectures and to meet new people.
