Second day of work

We left the apartment at 9:30 am and we went to university.

Today was the second day of work in WordPress. We used plugins to create buttons like “location”, “home”. We’ve learned to use widgets like “calendar.” It was fun.

Planning trips

Today we spent some time on organizing trips, looking for accommodation, transport and everything that is necessary. We’ve also compared the best offers and choose the most convenient for us. Some of the useful sites that we’ve used are http://www.polskibus.com/pl/index.htm & www.e-podroznik.pl – for cheap transport, www.booking.com- accommodation.

First Days in Polkowice

Today the Romanian team was exploring the town searching for places of spending leisure time and different shops. We enjoyed the medieval air of the town that enchanted us and made us forget about the rainy weather.

Exams time

Today we had another full day in the weekend.  Mr. Polkowski organized for all of us exams topics.

We were evaluated according to our subjects. Each one of us tried to be the best and to obtain the highest grades. We succeed and, after a hard day, we tried to organize everything for the next group, such as the website, the posts, same examples of templates for presentation, documents, and other projects.

Till now we learned a lot of things useful for our future and we’ve developed new skills and we added new information and knowledge to improve the quality of ours lives.

Was a productive day for us. 🙂

We are almost at the end of our Erasmus Experience in Polkowice and we wanted to have good memories about this place.

Today it was shooting day in Polkowice and I think that we’ve made a good job.

We visited all the County which border Polkowice: Głogów County to the north, Lubin County to the south-east, Legnica County to the south, Bolesławiec County to the south-west and Żagań County to the west.

Whether it’s about working, learning or cooking we enjoy spending our last moments as Erasmus students in Poland together.

Today we had prepared a special cake with personalized drawings. We would invite you to taste this delicious piece of art.

Concert Time

Every day we discover something new and Polkowice, even it’s an small and quite city, offers us many reasons to have a nice stay in Poland.

Till now we took part at many concerts, with all kind of music. Today we had RAP concert and we really enjoyed it even we didn’t understand a word but it sounded so good and for for us it was enough.

“Somebody” had a great concert and everybody seemed to be so excited not because it was a good weather but because the singer was a one of the best.

Bruges, Belgium

Bruges, the capital of West Flanders in northwest Belgium, is distinguished by its canals, cobbled streets and medieval buildings. Its port, Zeebrugge, is an important center for fishing and European trade. In the city center’s Burg square, the 14th-century Stadhuis (City Hall) has an ornately carved ceiling. Nearby, Markt square features a 13th-century belfry with a 47-bell carillon and 83m tower with panoramic views.

Unfortunately, we could spend only one day in this city, but in this short time, we visited the seaside.

We found accommodation close to the seaside. The price and the area where we stayed was very beautiful. For accommodation, 1 night we paid 82 Euro. This hotel had free car parking and wi-fi.
